Elderplan/HomeFirst Encourages You to Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine
There are currently two vaccines approved and available to help protect you from acquiring the COVID-19 infection: Pfizer and Moderna. Both vaccines have been shown to be approximately 95% effective. They are also very safe. Most people have experienced no or minimal side effects such as pain at the injection site and/or mild flu like symptoms.
Any person with COVID-19 could suffer serious health consequences. Individuals who are over 65, or who have chronic medical conditions, are especially at risk for getting very sick, being hospitalized, experiencing serious complications, and even death.
The senior leaders and medical officers of MJHS Health System and Elderplan/HomeFirst strongly encourage you to protect yourself and others by getting vaccinated as soon as you become eligible.

If you experience any challenges with appointment availability, please keep trying.
