Get Your Plan Notifications by Email or Text
Stay Up to Date on Important Plan Information
There’s an easier way to keep up with your plan notices. Choose email, text, or both — and we’ll send you an alert the moment a new notice is ready in your secure portal. It’s free, it’s safe, and you can switch back to paper mail at any time.
What kinds of notices?
Once you sign up, we’ll let you know whenever any of these are ready to read in your member portal:
- Service authorization decisions — when your doctor asks us to cover something
- Plan appeals — updates on appeals you’ve filed
- Complaints and complaint appeals — updates on complaints you’ve filed
- Changes to your Medicaid benefits and Member Handbook
Access your portal for important and timely updates. Your notice will be there waiting – easy to read, save, or print.
Choose How to Get Them: Email, text, or both — your choice
Email. We’ll email you a secure link as soon as a new notice is ready. You’ll need an email address and a way to get online.
Text. We’ll text you a secure link as soon as a new notice is ready. You’ll need a phone that can send texts and connect to the internet. Standard text and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don’t sign up?
Nothing changes. Your notices will keep coming by mail, just like before. We won’t send anything electronically unless you ask. You won’t be treated any differently for choosing one or the other.
Can I get notices in a different language or format?
Yes. Free language help — and formats like large print, audio, Braille, and accessible electronic versions — are always available. You can make this request in the secure portal or call Member Services for help.
What will my electronic notice look like?
Pretty much the same as the paper version, just on a screen. Each plan looks a little different.
Is the portal secure?
Yes. It’s password-protected and encrypted. We’ll never ask for your password by email or text — if anyone does, it isn’t us.
Can I add someone to get my notices too?
You can invite someone you trust — a spouse, child, friend, or caregiver — to see your portal notifications as well. We call this person your designee.
Here’s how to add one:
- Sign in to your member portal.
- Click My Designees at the top of the page.
- Enter their email address and click Send Invite.
- They’ll get an email with a confirmation link. Once they click it, you’ll see Accepted next to their name
